2011 CPB Club Presentation 01.12.2011We will be having the presentation at Roger & Cassie Junk's backyard on Saturday 10th of December _ 12:30PM. Members, Friends and Family are all welcome!Should be a fun day with prizes and laughs... More details soon.2011 Final CPB Contest 31.11.2011It was agreed that we should try to have one more CPB comp for the 2011 season. That is this weekend! Saturday 3rd December. Although it doesn't look like there is much swell on the way, a comp is scheduled. If not, that is all for the 2011 season and onto the preso King of the Beach time 26.10.2011Sat 26 Nov. Each surfer will have to provide the entry fee of approx $30.00 (Includes KOTB shirt)Could you please have a think about some rippers from the club who you think might be able to be competitive in the following (pals nominate your self if you see fit):1x under 14s, 1x under 16s, 1 x 18 and under, 1 X 28's and over, 1 x 35's and over, 1 x 40's and over, 1 x girl, and 5 x opens - total of 12 surfers.Group A - 5 x Open, 1 x GirlGroup B - 1 x 14S, 1 x 28 over , 1 x 18 and under, 1 x 16 and under, 1 X 35 and over and 1 x 40s and over.Start Times:7AM - Setup8AM Group A Surf Tag9.30 Group B Surf Tag11 AM Carve Expression Session12PM KOTB Surf Tag Final4PM Presso El SolFormat# Each surfer can catch a maximum of 3 waves.# highest 2 waves will count.#1 x power surfer and both wave scores doubled.#60 minutes per group A an B, with extra points for first team finishedbefore time.# Top 4 teams through to the final after group A and B surfed.CARVE expression Sessionfor 25 minutes and winner is best innovative maneuver.Urgent Action Required! 23.10.2011Circumstances have changed with the storage arrangements of the club's equipment.I'm hoping we can all put our heads together and figure out a storage system that suits. We need a home for 2 Tents, White Board, 4 Chairs, box of Rashees, sponsor banners & Club box.It would be best if all the gear is in one place.Please can club members act on this ASAP.September Comp in Clean Waves 16.09.2011The forecasters were calling for a sunny day with a fresh south swell in the 4-5 foot range, building to 6-8ft in the afternoon. Unfortunately it didn't amount to expectations, but we had some nice clean 3-4 footers all day. Some great surfing went down with great performances from Sean Austin & Steve "Frank" Archibald. Image to the right is showing what the forecast is for 6am Saturday morning. Sydney is on the 30S mark and the nice brown colours represent 12-18ft ocean swell, so it should be 4-6 foot and pumping! Make sure you're a FULLY financial member to pick yours up on the weekend.Good onya Brad!King Of The Beach is on for 2011!! 7.09.2011The date has been set for the 2011 King of the Beach event on 22 October. The Point team will be back into the action and aiming to move up the leaderboard and send those shoes lads back to the pavillion.We need to get together the $400 entry fee for the event. Maybe we can run a sausage sizzle to raise some funds on the weekend? Ando has offered some coin, and I'm sure we can sort that easily.The event is a great opportunity for a range of members to take on Elouera, the Sharks, Christian Boardriders, Garie and the Shoes mob :)The format is the same as last year, except that the Over 45s division has been dropped. Cronulla Point Boardriders

Cronulla Point Boardriders was formed way back in 1985 by a group of committed Point boardriders. Today, surfers continue to hold a point score event once a month.

The club has managed to maintain it's friendly, 'all are welcome' approach to club surfing.

We meet the second Saturday of the month between March and November.

The best place to keep up with current and future events is to visit the blog page regularly.

Monthly Point Score Competition

Meet at the point at 7:30am. Membership must be paid if you want to surf in a comp. Beach entries on the day are accepted at $10 per surfer.

Competition is scheduled to be held the 2nd Saturday of each month beggining in March

The Next contest is scheduled to be on Saturday 8th October , Pending on swell and wind conditions. Please be down the point by 7.30am so we can get the contest going as soon as possible.

Membership's must be paid, otherwise you cannot surf, insurace reasons.

Greeted wtih clean 2-4 foot surf, and a beautiful day (wind was a bit friggen chilly!!) we banded together to hold out September installment of the CPB 2011 season.
